Class of 2024 3-Star DB Gains Offer from WVU Football Program

The WVU football program has turned its attention to a key state in hopes of stabilizing a section of its defense for years to come. West Virginia sent an offer to Georgia native and three-star cornerback recruit Israel Boyce.
Listed at 6-foot and 180 pounds, Boyce posted about being able to add the Mountaineers to his list of offers on Monday. He still has one more season remaining at Douglas County High School in Douglasville, Georgia.

Considered a three-star by most national outlets, Boyce has about 20 offers on the table, including some from Power Five schools. Boyce is ranked as a top 100 overall recruit in Georgia by Rivals, 247 Sports and On3.com. His best ranking has Rivals place him as the number 31 player in the state.
Boston College, Cincinnati, Coastal Carolina, East Carolina, Liberty, JMU, Marshall, Memphis, Troy and UNLV are all pursuing Boyce.
