Defensive Lineman Tyrese Allen Enters Transfer Portal
West Virginia Football will be losing some depth to its defensive line after redshirt freshman Tyrese Allen decided to enter the transfer portal.
The 6’3″ 300 pound defensive tackle was recruited to WVU by former DL Coach, Bruce Tall. Allen is from Paintsville, KY where he was rated by ESPN as the 8th overall player in the state.
Coming out of high school, WVU was Allen’s only P5 offer, although he did receive some interest from Kentucky.
Allen redshirted last year and did not see any game action.
