Division II Transfer RB to Visit WVU Football This Weekend

After taking time throughout most of the week to evaluate the current players and who they may want to retain, the WVU football staff will be using the weekend to meet with recruits. One of the recruits visiting is a Division II transfer running back.

Landon Walker, who entered the transfer on Nov. 16, will be in Morgantown to visit West Virginia this weekend, per Peter Nakos’ of On3 Sports report.

Listed at 6-foot-2, 225 pounds, Walker is a Fort Worth, Texas native out of the Colorado School of Mines. He was a redshirt senior during the 2025 season after initially coming out of high school in 2021.

Walker has totaled 2,220 yards for an average of 6.5 yards per carry and scored 29 touchdowns throughout his college career so far. He’s also caught 46 passes for 295 yards and scored four more touchdowns as a receiver.
