Former WVU guard Erik Stevenson has been signed to a 10-day NBA contract by the Washington Wizards, the team announced Monday.

Stevenson, 25, is in his second year out of West Virginia. He was selected to play in the G League All-Star game last week.

Stevenson averaged 19.1 points across 16 games for the Capital City Go-Go in the G League this season, shooting 44.7% from three.

Stevenson played in the NBA Summer League with the Wizards in the 2024 and the Spurs the prior year right after wrapping up his college career at WVU.

He wrapped up his final year of eligibility at West Virginia during the 2022-23 season, helping the Mountaineers return to the NCAA Tournament in March. Stevenson averaged 15.4 points, 3.4 rebounds and 2.5 assists on 43 percent shooting from the field. The fifth-year senior played his best towards the end of the year, recording five straight 20-point-plus games at the end of February.

Before becoming a Mountaineer, Stevenson also experienced time with Wichita State, Washington and South Carolina throughout his college career.
