The West Virginia coaching staff has been hard at work on the recruiting trail this month.

This time, assistant coach Trickett has offered four-star Pahokee (Fla.) 2020 defensive end Latarie Kinsler.

“I feel like it’s a very big offer for me,” Kinsler told DubVNation. “Me and coach will start planning [for a visit] ASAP.”

The 6-foot, 191-pound Florida product already holds over 20 offers, including Miami, Oregon, LSU, and Tennessee, but had good things to say about a potential future in Morgantown.

“For sure, especially how [Coach Trickett] is talking good about my brother Jatarie. Our dream has always been to play together at the next level,” Kinsler said.

Kinsler doesn’t have a decision date or a top list of schools just yet, but added he’s looking for a program where he can “compete right away.” He wants a place that “fits” him.

During his senior season, Kinsler is looking to break his freshman record of 23 total sacks.
