Freshman Robert Oliver Using Athleticism to Stand Out | WVU Football All 105

All 105 is a West Virginia Sports Now series profiling each member of the 2026 WVU Football Roster.

Helping to further the Florida pipeline to West Virginia despite being from Arizona, Robert Oliver will start his college career as a Mountaineer in 2026.

At 6-foot-2 and 180 pounds, his athleticism could make him strand out to coaches as most of the receiver positions will remain open heading into fall camp – Oliver had success as both a wide receiver and a returner at Niceville High School.

Last Year: Oliver played for coach Richard Morgan at Niceville High in Florida.

Stats: He made 51 catches for 981 yards and 11 touchdowns in 2025 and finished his high school career with 100 catches for 1,913 receiving yards and 23 touchdowns.

Post-Camp Outlook: Oliver was part of the returner competition during the spring.

Projected Role: He should redshirt barring several injuries above him.

Accolades, Highlights:He also recorded 432 kickoff return yards during his high school career.
