MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — A new era for WVU Basketball began Friday night with the first Coach Darian DeVries lead team taking the court at the WVU Coliseum.
Fans got the chance to see the new team play an exhibition game against a former WVU player coached University of Charleston team. The Mountaineers defeated Coach James Long’s team 94-61. After the game, fans got a chance to meet the new players and coaches as well as get their autographs.
And of course, everyone joined together to sing Country Roads.
