The 6-foot-3, 230-pound Britt hails from Oxford, Ala. and attends Oxford High School. Britt also heard from WVU head coach Rich Rodriguez’s previous school Jacksonville State, fellow Big 12 program Oklahoma State and Liberty in recent weeks.
Britt is ranked as a four-star by both On3 Sports and Rivals, granted only a three-star by 247 Sports. But no matter his star rating, Britt is regarded as one of the top 20 players in Alabama by every major national outlet.
Despite verbally committing to South Carolina, Britt has a total of 21 offers. Power Four programs like Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, Georgia Tech, Louisville, Ole Miss, Oregon, Tennessee, UCF and Vanderbilt have all shown interest in Britt. Some of his other notable offers are Troy, Tulane and UAB.
