The WVU women’s basketball team is carrying serious momentum into Saturday’s NCAA Tournament regional, as it will host Miami (OH) Saturday. The game will officially take place at 5 p.m.

Kentucky and JMU will play at 2:30 p.m. to begin the session on Saturday. Both games will be broadcast on ESPNU.

WVU women’s basketball team comes into the postseason after its best season under head coach Mark Kellogg with a 27-6 regular season record and 14-4 mark in the Big 12. The Mountaineers secured an automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament by winning the Big 12 Championship for the first time since 2017.

The Mountaineers also secured the Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year for the third straight season with senior guard Jordan Harrison. Guard JJ Quinerly earned the award the past two seasons under Kellogg.
