Grier named Big 12 Preseason Offensive Player of the Year, others honored

Many preseason awards are coming senior quarterback Will Grier’s way, and today he can add a couple preseason honors from the Big 12. The Big 12 Conference named Grier the 2018 preseason Offensive Player of the Year. He was also named the conference’s First-Team quarterback.

Joining Grier on the All-Big 12 First Team is senior wide receiver David Sills V and senior offensive tackle Yodny Cajuste. On the defensive side, redshirt junior linebacker David Long is also tagged on the preseason first team list.

Wide receiver Gary Jennings, who led the conference in receptions a year ago, was left off the list.
