According to Jake Trotter of ESPN, West Virginia junior quarterback Will Grier has been officially ruled out for the season. The star quarterback currently leads the nation in passing touchdowns (34) and was third in the nation for passing yards per game. Grier went down early in the final home game against Texas with an apparent dislocated/broken finger that turned out to be a broken hand. Grier will be having surgery today in Charlotte, NC to repair the hand.

Chris Chugunov will be the guy the Mountaineers turn to down the final stretch of the season. The Mountaineers play at Oklahoma next week to conclude the regular season and will await an announcement in the coming weeks to see which bowl game they will play in.
