The 2023 XFL season is now in its second week, which means the second game of Antony Becht’s coaching career. The West Virginia product will look to keep the momentum going after a thrilling season opening debut tonight.

Becht’s St. Louis Battlehawks will face the Seattle Sea Dragons at Lumen Field in Seattle. No matter the outcome, it’s unlikely to be able to match the excitement at the end of the Battlehawks’ Week 1 win over the Brahmas. Quarterback A.J. McCarron led St. Louis on a memorable comeback after trailing 15-3. This comeback included connecting a 4th down and 15 late in the game.

The former WVU tight end and NFL player spoke about winning his first game as a head coach in such an exciting manner in his postgame press conference.

Conversely, Seattle suffered a 22-18 loss at the hands of the DC Defenders, putting the Sea Dragons in a situation of needing a win tonight in order to even up their record.

Kickoff between the Battlehawks and Sea Dragons is scheduled for 9 pm ET and the game will be televised on FX.
