Look: WVU Transfer Commit RaeQuan Battle in Gold and Blue

West Virginia landed a transfer commitment from Montana State’s RaeQuan Battle on Wednesday afternoon. Battle posted pictures of himself in the WVU uniform for the first time.

Battle visited Morgantown last weekend from Saturday, lasting until Monday.

Battle (6-foot-5) entered the transfer portal last week, leaving Montana State after two years. Battle began his collegiate career at Washington. Battle started in all 35 games this past season, averaging 17.7 points on 47 percent shooting from the field, 35 percent from three and 83 percent from the free throw line. The Tulip, Wa. native scored 27 points against Kansas State in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. Battle was named to the All-Big Sky First Team during his senior year.
