Report: Another WVU Coach is Expected to Join the New Staff at Troy
WVU could be losing another coach to Troy. A report from Matt Zenitz of 247 Sports now suggests West Virginia’s passing game coordinator and quarterbacks coach Sean Reagan is headed to Troy to take over as offensive coordinator.
This would mean new Troy head coach Gerad Parker is giving an opportunity to another WVU coach. Parker has already hired former West Virginia safeties coach Dontae Wright as his defensive coordinator.
West Virginia QB coach Sean Reagan is expected to be hired as the new offensive coordinator at Troy, sources tell @247sports.

These hires should not come as too much of a shock since Parker has a relationship with several coaches on Neal Brown’s staff from his own time in Morgantown. Parker served as the WVU offensive coordinator and wide receivers coach at WVU during the 2020 season. He then spent a few years at Notre Dame before being hired as Troy’s next head coach this off-season.
Reagan has a long history with Troy, working in multiple capacities there from 2011 to 2018 prior to leaving to join Brown with the Mountaineers. He even started his coaching career off as a grad assistant at Troy in 2008.
WV Sports Now will continue to follow this developing story.
