Spoiling his holiday fun, former WVU guard Kerr Kriisa was arrested by the FBI on Saturday, July 4, per Kentucky Sports Radio’s Jack Pilgrim.

Kriisa, now 25, was arrested on alleged fraud charges dating back to his time in Morgantown and the FBI plans to extradite him to West Virginia.

Kriisa transferred to WVU from Arizona, where he played from 2020-23, ahead of the 2023-24 season. He averaged 11.0 points, 2.5 rebounds and 4.7 assists in 23 games for the Mountaineers. The Estonian native shot 43% from the field and 42% from three. The 6-foot-3 guard was suspended for the first nine gamesย of the season after receiving impermissible benefits while at Arizona.

Kriisa then moved on from the Mountaineers and transferred to Kentucky and then wrapped up his college career with Cincinnati in 2025-26.

Most recently, Kriisa signed with an Estonian professional team and was set to participate in The Basketball Tournament (TBT) this summer.

I kinda felt defrauded by the contribution Kerr made for the funds that we paid…but seriously, FBI = not good for Kerr. Federal charges…
