Treysen Eaglestaff Finds NBA Summer League Team

Former WVU basketball guard Treysen Eaglestaff will make his NBA Summer League debut representing the NBA champion New York Knicks, Jon Kepchevich of Draft Express reports.

Eaglestaff is the first member of the 2025-26 WVU team to be reported to have joined an NBA Summer league team.

Eaglestaff started all 35 games for WVU during the 2025-26 season, averaging 9.8 points, 4.6 rebounds and 28.9 minutes per game.

He will join former Mountaineer Toby Okani in New York, who was a member of the 2024-25 WVU basketball team. The Knicks are also home to former Mountaineer Miles “Deuce” McBride, who helped New York win the 2026 NBA Championship title.
