Stedman Bailey Formally Charged for Summer Arrest
Former WVU wide receiver Stedman Bailey has been officially charged with what’s labeled as “exposure of sexual organs,” which is a first-degree misdemeanor, per TMZ.
Bailey was arrested with a woman back on July 27, but the incident was not reported on until August 6th.
Bailey was arrested with a woman, Karina Manderson, at around 12:30 am for openly having sex in public within an arcade of a mall inside Pembroke Lakes Mall of Pembroke Pines, Fla.
The following is the report of the incident from WPLG Local 10 News:
“According to the Pembroke Pines Police Department, officers responded to Round1 after receiving reports of two people who were having sex at the bar of the establishment.
Police said they reviewed surveillance footage which showed Manderson “leaned over at the waist” while Bailey was behind her, and a witness told investigators that they observed the two having intercourse, and when asking the suspects to stop, Bailey pulled up his pants and the two slowly left the bar area.”
Police also do not believe their drinks were tampered with.
Bailey was a star at WVU from 2010-12. His junior year featured 25 receiving touchdowns and 1,622 receiving yards. Bailey was drafted in the third round by the St. Louis Rams in 2013.
