TCU’s Basketball Program in COVID Protocol, Could Affect WVU Game

Published

on

On Monday, TCU’s basketball program made the announcement that they’re dealing with COVID-19 issues, putting themselves in protocol. The Horned Frogs game on Wednesday against Texas Southern has been canceled, while their game against Kansas on Jan. 1 has been postponed.

This is relevant for West Virginia since the Mountaineers are scheduled to play the Horned Frogs in Fort Worth, Texas, on Jan. 3.

TCU is currently the only Big 12 school in COVID protocol. That number could easily increase sooner than later. Luckily for the NCAA, the CDC announced the reduction of days for vaccinated people to quarantine. NCAA should follow up within the next couple of days to reduce their number as they were waiting on the CDC recommendation.
