Tennessee State DL Transfer Davoan Hawkins Commits to WVU

West Virginia received their second transfer commitment of the day, this time from Tennessee State DL Davoan Hawkins. Hawkins posted his commitment on social media Sunday afternoon.

“I’m sorry for the delay. 304, let’s ride Morgantown,” Hawkins said.

Hawkins recorded 31 total tackles, 1.0 sacks and two fumble recoveries in 11 games for TSU. Hawkins previously played at Kentucky from 2018-20. The Florida native is a former 3-star prospect out of high school.

Hawkins joins DB Keyshawn Cobb as the second commitment for West Virginia for the day.
