The West Virginia Sports Now Recruiting Notebook will keep you updated on all the recruiting news going on with the West Virginia football and basketball teams. 

Update (8:22 AM)-
**A third offer on Thursday from WVU to a player in Michigan as this one goes to 2024 cornerback Wendell Smith Jr. from Detroit, Michigan. Smith also holds offers from Purdue, Eastern Michigan and Western Carolina.

**2023 3-star cornerback Amare Snowden receives an offer from West Virginia. The native of Roseville, Michigan also holds offers from Bowling Green, Central Michigan, Liberty, Nebraska and Syracuse.

**West Virginia extended an offer to 2024 athlete Jacob Oden from Harper Woods High School in Harper Woods, Michigan. Oden (6’0″, 175) holds offers from Cincinnati, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan State, Ole Miss, Pitt, Purdue, Syracuse and Tennessee.

**Lackawanna College (JUCO) OT JB Nelson received an offer on Thursday evening from West Virginia. Coming out of high school at Mt. Lebanon (Pittsburgh), Nelson was a standout performer. Nelson also holds offers from Maryland, Ole Miss and NC State.
