Transfer OF Paul Schoenfeld Signs with WVU Baseball

In a move to bolster the offense for next season, the WVU baseball program signed Colorado Mesa outfielder Paul Schoenfeld. He announced his commitment on June 3.
The Wichita, Kan. native will elevate his game after being one of the most productive players in NCAA Division II during the 2025 season. He earned First Team All-Region and Second Team All-American honors from the ABCA.

Schoenfeld claimed the honor of consensus All-American thanks to receiving the recognition from D2CCA, NCBWA and ABCA.
Schoenfeldโs season was highlighted by a 28-game hit streak and a 35-game reached base streak, which led to finishing the year with a .425 batting average. He ranked second in Division II with 89 and runs scored per game and fifth in hits with 94.
Before breaking out at Colorado Mesa, the 5-foot-11, 185-pound left hander started his college career at Butler Community College, where he posted a .286 average with nine home runs and 17 stolen bases in 52 games played.
