The last time that WVU wore the white, blue, white combo was back in 2017, against Iowa State. The Mountaineers ended up winning that game 20-17.

The helmet is double-sided with the flying WV on one side with the state outline with the American flag inside the state. West Virginia has never worn these helmets before and will be debuting them against the Cowboys.
The last time West Virginia brought out the American helmets, which are navy, was in the Liberty Bowl, last season against Army. WVU won that game 24-21.
Kick-off against Oklahoma State inside Milan Puskar Stadium is set for 3:30 p.m. Mountaineer great Major Harris will have his No. 9 retired at the end of the first quarter.
