West Virginia offers rising Canadian wide receiver

Published

on

Yesterday the Mountaineers coaching staff reached up north to extend an offer to class of 2020 wide receiver Malick Meiga of Cegep du Vieux HS in Montreal, Quebec.

When asked about receiving the offer from West Virginia he said, “it’s a blessing man.”

Although he is not too familiar with the program just yet, he is looking to learn more about it throughout his recruitment, “I know they play in a competitive Big 12 conference and they have a lot of good players that get developed and play in the NFL.” Meiga said.

Meiga informed me that he is planning on making a trip to Morgantown sometime this spring or summer. He also holds offers from Ohio, Buffalo, Toledo, UConn, Cincinnati, Baylor, Liberty and Ball State. He has no current leaders in his recruitment at the moment and said, “I’m considering every offer.”
