West Virginia offers speedy 2020 running back

Offers are flying out of the football office in Morgantown and the latest recipient is class of 2020 running back Jabari Small of Briarcrest Christian in Memphis, Tennessee.

Small also carries a load of offers from Tennessee, Arkansas, North Carolina, Memphis, UAB, Cincinnati, Southern Miss, Liberty and Central Michigan with only more on the way. Small noted that no schools are currently labeled as the “leader”, but was excited about the Mountaineers offer.

West Virginia co-offensive coordinator Chad Scott is the lead recruiter for Small and the two are just at the beginning stages of their relationship. Small informed me that they plan to utilize him as a slot receiver and returner as well as being a running back. “Nowadays I think I fit pretty much any type of offense. I can run through tackles, play in space, line up in the slot and use my speed. It’s a game of match-ups and I think I can be a mismatch to a lot of teams.” Small said.

Small intends on visiting West Virginia once he sorts out some dates and will look to do so sometime soon.
