Update (10:03 PM)-
**Tonight, West Virginia extends an offer to 2023 4-star running back Javin Simpkins from Norland High School in Miami, Florida. This offer is interesting because Simpkins has already given a commitment to Georgia Tech. Simpkins also holds offers from Maryland, Ole Miss, Texas A&M, Central Florida and Arkansas.

**Tonight, West Virginia extends an offer to 2022 3-star DE Isaiah Hastings from Clearwater Academy in Florida. Hastings (6’5″ 260) is from Toronto, Ontario. Along with West Virginia, Hastings also holds offers from Georgia Tech, Indiana, Tennessee, Buffalo, Liberty and South Alabama. Last year, West Virginia landed standout defensive lineman Akheem Mesidor from Clearwater Academy.

**WVU has offered 2024 running back Stacy Gage from the IMG Academy in Flordia. Gage has been piling up offers, holding offers from Arizona, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Penn State, USC, Utah, Toledo, Western Kentucky and Wyoming.

Update (1:36 PM)-
**West Virginia extends an offer today to 2023 4-star running back Samuel Singleton, Jr. from Orange Park, Florida. Singleton is rated by 247 Sports as one of the Top 5 running backs and Top 70 prospects in the Class of 2023. Singleton also currently holds offers from Cincinnati, Florida State, Kentucky, LSU, Miami, Michigan, NC State, Tennessee, Central Florida and Virginia Tech.

**Central Valley High School (Western Pennsylvania) 2022 LB Matt Merritt was working out at West Virginia on Tuesday looking to earn a scholarship.

**Upper St. Clair (Pittsburgh) 2022 athlete Ethan Hiester got the chance on Tuesday to workout for the West Virginia staff.

**West Virginia also received a visit from Sto-Rox High School (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) 2023 athlete Amere Hibbler

**Jaymont Green-Miller (5’11”, 175) is from Sto-Rox High School in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Last season, he was a 1st team all-state receiver.

Update (7:30 AM)- 

**2023 OL Chris Moreno from Don Bosco Prep in New Jersey visited and took part in a camp yesterday at West Virginia.
