WVU Basketball F Evans Barning Jr. to Enter Transfer Portal
WVU basketball freshman forward Evans Barning Jr. has entered the transfer portal after one season in Morgantown, Sam Keyser reported on X.
Barning did not see the floor this season for WVU.
Barning, a 6-foot-7 forward, enrolled early after reclassifying and was the final signee for WVU basketball last offseason.
Barning, who is originally from Toronto, Canada, played last season at Archbishop Carroll High School in Washington, D.C. He had 10.4 points and 6.3 rebounds per game in his final high school season.
He also competed at the AAU level for Team Durant last summer, averaging 8.8 points and 4.3 rebounds per game.
