Four-star 2026 center Aliou Dioum has included WVU in his top six schools, per Rivals. The other schools are Wake Forest, Mississippi State, Illinois, UNLV and Syracuse.

The 6-foot-10 center has already visited Wake Forest. He will have an official visit to WVU on Aug. 30.

Dioum will play his final season at Bella Vista Prep in Arizona this year. According to Rivals Industry Ranking, he is the No. 113 player in the class and the No. 11 center.

In an interview with On3, Dioum emphasized his preparation ahead of his senior season.

“I have been really locked in this season,” Dioum said. “I watch film every night with coach, and go to the gym every day. I love hooping and working on my game. I watch a lot of Kevin Garnett film, I love how he is a dog. I go out and do whatever my team needs to win; block shots, rebound, run the floor hard, dunk the ball, knock down shots, whatever it takes to win. I am locked in every day.”

As the WVU roster stands, the front court will lose forwards Treysen Eaglestaff, Jackson Fields, Brenen Lorient and center Harlan Obioha after this season. That leaves just redshirt freshman center Abraham Oyeadier for 2026.
