Which Mountaineers Are Representing WVU Basketball at Big 12 Media Days Event?
With tip-off to the 2025-26 season fast approaching, Ross Hodge and the WVU basketball program is preparing for the Big 12 Media Days event next week.
Joining Hodge in Kansas City will be Jasper Floyd, Honor Huff and Brenen Lorient.
The 2025 Big 12 Basketball Media Days presented by New Era, held at T-Mobile Center in Kansas City. The Mountaineers will speak on Wednesday, Oct. 22.

West Virginia came in at No. 67 in the 2025 preseason KenPom rankings.
The ranking is the 12th best out of all Big 12 programs. WVU is behind No. 1 Houston, No. 12 Texas Tech, No. 13 Iowa State, No. 15 Arizona, No. 17 Baylor, No. 18 BYU, No. 21 Kansas, No. 36 Cincinnati, No. 61 Kansas State, No. 64 UCF and No. 66 TCU.
WVU started last season at No. 87 in the KenPom rankings and ended at No. 51.
This season marks the first year of Ross Hodge at the helm of WVU with the program seeing its fourth head coach in as many years.
