WVU Basketball Offers 2025 Forward

WVU basketball staff offered 2025 three-star forward Ian Inman over the weekend. Inman, 6-foot-5, currently plays at The Woodlands College Park High School in Texas.

“After a great conversation with head coach [Darian] DeVries, I am extremely blessed to receive an offer to West Virginia University,” Inman wrote on social media.

Inman has picked up offers from Colorado, Colorado State, George Mason, Northeastern, Rice, Saint Louis, San Jose State, Tulsa, UC Santa Barbara, UMass, West Virginia, Wichita State and others.

Inman has taken visits to Rice, Texas Tech and Wichita State so far in his recruitment.

During his sophomore season (2022-23), Inman averaged 8.6 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game.

On Monday, West Virginia landed in 2025 guard Omari Witherspoon’s top 10 list. Witherspoon is a rising senior at St. John’s College High School in Washington, D.C., and plays circuit ball with DC Premier.

Witherspoon, a 6-foot-6 prospect, is also considering Butler, Clemson, George Mason, Maryland, Oklahoma State, Pitt, Vanderbilt, Virginia Tech and Xavier.
