WVU Football Becomes Latest Offer for 2027 4-Star Florida TE

WVU Football TE recruit Landon Wolny

A highly regarded tight end prospect in the 2027 class can now add WVU to his offer list.

Florida product Landon Wolny revealed West Virginia tight end coach Michael Nysewander called him with the offer on Thursday.

Wolny (6-foot-4, 220 pounds) now has 27 total offers, including numerous from major Power Four programs. He attends the Community School of Naples in Naples, Fla.

With significant offers from schools like Arkansas, California, Colorado, Florida State, Kentucky, Michigan State, North Carolina State, Ole Miss, Pitt, Utah and Washington State, Wolny carries four star from both Rivals and 247 Sports.

Rivals has Wolny ranked as the No. 36 player in Florida and No. 18 at the position.

It will now be up to Nysewander and the Mountaineers to build a relationship with such a coveted player who will continue to receive opportunities around the country.
