WVU Women’s Basketball Moves Up in AP Poll

Mark Kellogg’s WVU women’s basketball team continues to move up the rankings. Still undefeated, the Mountaineers are now ranked at No. 21 by the Associated Press.

This is the second consecutive week WVU is ranked, moving up from entering the poll at No. 23 last week.

WVU earned 175 points in the poll. Five Big 12 teams appeared in the rankings, including No. 8 TCU (563), No. 10 Iowa State (475), No. 15 Baylor (354), and No. 24 Oklahoma State (71). Kansas (2) is featured in the receiving votes section of the poll

West Virginia is back in action Monday afternoon at the Baha Mar Hoops Pink Flamingo Championship when they take on McNeese State at 1:30 p.m. ET.
