West Virginia is showing interest in a three-time state championship quarterback in the 2027 class.

On Monday, the WVU football staff sent an offer to William Wood, a three-star prospect out of Massachusetts.

WVU quarterbacks coach Rhett Rodriguez called Wood to inform him of West Virginia’s interest. Wood is coming off an incredibly productive and efficient junior season that saws him lead the Xaverian Brothers High School team to its third state title in a row.

Wood threw for over 2,800 passing yards and tossed 42 touchdowns to just one interception.
