WVU Football Recruiting
WVU Football Stays in Running for 2027 WPIAL 4-Star WR
Six months after receiving an offer from the WVU football program, Western Pennsylvania wide receiver recruit Javien Robinson is still considering a move south to West Virginia.
As of Feb. 9, Robinson told Rivals that he’s cut this list down to just five schools. WVU made the cut along with Miami (FL), Pitt, Rutgers and Syracuse.
A multi-sport athlete, Robinson is a consensus four-star talent who has been drawing interest from Power Four programs for a year. West Virginia extended him an offer in late August. He was recently in Morgantown for Junior Day.
In addition to the Mountaineers and the others in his top five, Robinson has offers on the table from Florida State, Virginia Tech and Wisconsin. Lower level schools like Akron, Duquesne, Miami (OH), Toledo, UConn and Sacramento State.
Robinson is rated as a top 100 player nationally, top 20 wide receiver and top 10 prospect in Pennsylvania in his class.
