WVU Football’s Milum Named Freshman All-American

For the second-straight season, WVU Football has a Football Writers Association of America Freshman All-American.

Freshman offensive tackle Wyatt Milum follows in sophomore center Zach Frazier’s footsteps, and is the first WVU offensive lineman to make the team. This also marks his third award of the kind, after garnering both The Athletic’s Freshman All-American team and ON3’s True Freshman team in December. Milum was in on 622 offensive snaps over the course of 12 games, eight of which he started, in the 2021 season; he was the WVU Offensive Lineman of the Game for the Iowa State game, and finished with 29 knockdowns and 17 great blocks. Milum also had eight games without allowing a sack.
