WVU WR Jeremiah Aaron announced on Tuesday night that he will officially be entering the transfer portal. Aaron, who hasn’t been with the team since late September, wrote the following on social media.

“First, I want to thank God for allowing me to play the game that I love. Without him, I am nothing.

I would like to thank coach Mike Joseph and his strength staff for pushing me in my fitness to be a better player on the field, both mentally and physically. I also want to thank WVU Football for giving me the opportunity to pursue my dreams beyond JUCO.

Lastly, I want to thank my family for always believing in me and always having my back through thick and thin. Y’all are my ‘why’ and I love y’all.

With that being said, after a lot of thoughts and prayers, I will be entering the transfer portal with two years of eligibility.”

Aaron joins teammate receiver Cortez Braham to enter the transfer portal from West Virginia this week. Aaron was with the program for two seasons, appearing in 15 games. Aaron, a 5-foot-10 receiver, recorded 13 catches for 132 yards during his two years. Aaron originally committed to WVU in 2022 from Navarro CC (JUCO). Aaron has two years of eligibility remaining.
