After West Virginia suffered a heartbreaking loss to Iowa State, falling 84-81 on Wednesday night, WVU forward Gabe Osabuohien posted on social media his emotions.

“I don’t need no friends, I just wanna win 💔,” Osabuohien wrote in an Instagram post.

Gabe Osabuohien knocked down a wide-open three at the end of the first half to give the Mountaineers a 41-31 lead heading into the break. Osabuohien has been quiet the last few games, but brought back his usual production against ISU. Osabuohien was all over the floor on defense. The most surprising factor that the fifth-year senior brought to the table was the scoring. Coming into the game, Osabuohien averaged 4.4 points per game with only two double-digit scoring performances this season. The Canada native ended the night with a career-high in points with 19. Osabuhoein also had five rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block.
