About two months before the college basketball season begins, ESPN’s Joe Lunardi released another edition of his offseason bracketology projections. Let’s take a look at which Big 12 teams Lunardi has in the field early and at what seed line.

5. Cincinnati

7. BYU

10. Kansas State

**AQ = automatic qualifier

Lunardi does not have West Virginia in his tournament field or on the bubble. WVU is entering its first season under head coach Darian DeVries from Drake. DeVries and his new staff completely flipped the roster as they only return rising sophomoreย Ofri Naveh. West Virginiaย brings top transfersย Tucker DeVriesย (F โ€“ Drake) andย Javon Smallย (G โ€“ Oklahoma State) to lead the way with other adds beingย Sencire Harrisย (G โ€“ Illinois),ย Amani Hansberryย (F โ€“ Illinois),ย Toby Okaniย (F โ€“ UIC),ย Eduardo Andreย (C โ€“ Fresno State),ย Joseph Yesufuย (G โ€“ Washington State),ย Jayden Stoneย (G โ€“ Detroit Mercy),ย Jonathan Powell (2024 G) and KJ Tenner (2024 G).

There are a lot of changes in Big 12 basketball for the 2024-25 season. The conference officially adds Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado and Utah this summer while losing Oklahoma and Texas to the SEC. The Big 12 will also move to a 20-game conference schedule, making the already grueling slate even harder.
