Just a few weeks away from tip-off, Best Virginia has its first opponent in the 2025 TBT, as announced by the affiliated Final Fourcast earlier in the week. Best Virginia will start off their return to Charleston against the Dubois Dream.

As of now, the roster for this summer’s Best Virginia team looks like this – Erik Stevenson, James Reese V, former Marshall basketball alum Jarrod West, Jermaine Hailey Jr., Kedrian Johnson, Wesley Harris and Will Vorhees. Former West Virginia Mountaineer and TBT staple John Flowers is back as a player/general manager this year.

Esa Ahmad was announced for the team, but does not currently appear on the official roster.

Jarrod West returns as coach for the first time since Best Virginia’s debut in the TBT in 2019. West is joined by former WVU assistant coach Ron Everhart and Donald Kummer on his staff. Gregory Richardson is also apart of the fold as a general manger.
