Andre, a 6-foot-11, 240-pound center, will transition to the West Virginia alumni team after finishing up his college eligibility as Mountaineer during the 2024-25 season. Andre played in 31 games, averaging 5.0 points and 3.8 rebounds per game.
Prior to transferring to WVU, Andre played two seasons at Fresno State and two at Nebraska before that at the start of his career.
In contrast to Andre making his TBT debut, Harris will play for Best Virginia for the second consecutive season.
Harris played in 59 games for West Virginia from 2017-19 under Bob Huggins. Harris averaged 7.9 points during his junior year before transferring to Tennessee State to wrap up his collegiate eligibility. Harris has played in Cyprus, Romania and most recently Slovakia, where he averaged 11.8 points and 5.8 rebounds this past season.
Former WVU star Jarrod West will make his return as head coach.
West, who played at WVU from 1994-98, was recently revealed as the new head coach of the Best Virginia team in this summer’s TBT. He also has been recently serving as the head coach of Notre Dame High School in Clarksburg.
West is remembered fondly by Mountaineer fans for hitting the game-winning shot in the second round of the 1998 NCAA Tournament to beat Cincinnati and send West Virginia to the Sweet 16.
West’s son by the same name will also play for Best Virginia despite being a Marshall basketball alum.
The TBT returns to West Virginia this year as the 2025 West Virginia Regional will be played in the Charleston Coliseum & Convention Center from July 18-23. Charleston previously hosted TBT regionals in 2021 and 2022. Best Virginia will open against Dubois Dream.
