Bruce Irvin Finds New Home in NFL

Published

on

This afternoon, former West Virginia defensive end Bruce Irvin officially signed with the Carolina Panthers to a one year deal according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.

Irvin split time last season with the Oakland Raiders and the Atlanta Falcons tallying 19 tackles and 6.5 sacks.

The 2018 season was considered a down year for Irvin, but signing a short term deal with Carolina seems to be a perfect fit for him having played in the NFC South last season.

The Panthers can utilize him in multiple ways and he will likes see the field more in Charlotte than he would have had he remained with Atlanta.

Details of Irvin’s deal have not been disclosed as of yet.
