The West Virginia University baseball team will pause all activates for the next seven days, the school announced Tuesday morning.

The pause is due to WVU not being able to meet the Big 12’s required COVID-19 thresholds, according to the school. . As a result, the Mountaineers series this weekend against Kent State as well as next week’s game against in-state rival Marshall have all been postponed.

Rescheduled dates for the postponed games, if the games are rescheduled, will be announced at a later day. Fans with tickets for the postponed games will be able to use those tickets at the rescheduled game if they occur.
