Plitzuweit took over a West Virginia program a year ago that was transitioning from the end of an era with former longtime head coach Mike Carey. She will now look to restrict a once proud Minnesota program that has not made the NCAA Women’s Tournament since 2018.
In Plitzuweit’s only season at WVU, she led West Virginia to a 19-10 record and an at-large bid in the NCAA Women’s Tournament.
