Former Mountaineer Winston Wright Back on Market, Enters Transfer Portal

Former Mountaineer star receiver Winston Wright is back on the market searching for a new college program. After spending the last two years at Florida State, Wright is now back in the transfer portal.
Following the 2021 season and a successful three-year tenure at WVU, Wright decided to leave the Mountaineers for Florida State. Unfortunately, Wright suffered a serious injury before the 2022 season and did not take the field for the Seminoles until this season.
Reports now suggest that the Savannah, Georgia native is looking for more playing time elsewhere. Wright has only made four catches for 36 yards in 2023 as a redshirt senior.
Some on social media are even speculating about a reunion between WVU and Wright based on his Instagram profile now being scrubbed to only show pictures from his time in Morgantown.
