Former WVU WR Winston Wright Commits to Florida State
Winston Wright Jr. now has a new home.
The former West Virginia wide receiver committed to Florida State, on Sunday night. Wright will spend his last season of eligibility with Mike Norvell and the Seminoles. Wright posted this commitment message on social media.

Wright committed to WVU back in 2018 to play for Dana Holgorsen. The Savannah, Georgia, native then played for Neal Brown for three years, appearing in 31 games for the Mountaineers. Wright accumulated 63 receptions and 688 yards in 2021, with five receiving touchdowns and a kick-off return touchdown against Long Island.
“I want to start by again thanking West Virginia University for building me up to be the best version of myself. For that I will forever be grateful. My time at West Virginia will be with me forever, Morgantown will forever hold a special place in my heart,” Wright wrote in his statement.
