Mountaineers in the Pros

Former WVU Star Miles McBride Helps Knicks to Big Win Over Warriors

The Knicks didn’t just beat the Warriors on Tuesday night, they completely dominated the defending NBA champions.

As he has been recently, former Mountaineer Miles “Deuce” McBride contributed to New York’s win with another double digit point performance. McBride score 10 points in 19 minutes, going four for seven from the field and two for five from three-point range.

The night even included a rare dunk from the guard, which kept momentum rolling and ignited the Madison Square Garden crowd.

The Knicks have now won eight in a row. The WVU product has emerged as a key piece off the bench during this streak, both thanks to his overall offensive game and hustle on defense. Tuesday night against Golden State marked McBride’s second 10-point game in the NBA.

Even though he may not be lighting up the stat sheet as much and having his responses to reporters copied by stars around the league, Miles McBride is making sure people realize Jevon Carter is not the only WVU product performing in the NBA today.
