Geno Smith Leads Seahawks to Victory, Continues Historic Season
Geno Smith knows the Seahawks can’t afford for him to be off his game and he delivered yet again.
Smith completed 28 passes off 39 attempts and threw for 367 yards with three touchdowns in Seattle’s 27-23 win over the Rams. His 71.8 completion percentage and 116.1 rating also tied an NFL record.
To put Geno Smith’s phenomenal season into perspective, he has now tied the NFL record for the longest streak of games with a 60+ completion % and an 80+ rating. He’s done it in 12 straight games. The only other QBs to do this in SB era are Peyton Manning and Aaron Rodgers.

The West Virginia football great has now completed 60% of his passes and posted an 80 or better rating in 12 straight games. The only quarterbacks to ever do this in league history are Peyton Manning and Aaron Rodgers. Smith will have the longest such streak ever if he accomplishes both marks again next week.
Smith will now look to continue his historic season at home against Carolina.
