In its continued effort to invest in college football, Leaf Trading Cards signed a WVU star as part of welcoming a new group of players to the company.

West Virginia running back CJ Donaldson is among a trio of players to sign with the company. Donaldson joins UCLA quarterback Ethan Garbers and Oregon wide receiver Traeshon Holden.

After emerging as a freshman in 2022, Donaldson recorded 798 rushing yards with 11 touchdowns during his sophomore campaign last season. Despite some struggles in the middle of the season, Donaldson scored in nine straight games.

While some thought he may decide to transfer rather than share the bulk of the carries with 2023’s freshman sensation Jahiem White, Donaldson instead committed to the return to the Mountaineers in February via another deal with WVU NIL collective Country Roads Trust.

This is far from Leaf’s first partnership with college stars, inking Heisman winner and top NFL Draft pick Caleb Williams during his time at USC and even LSU gymnast Livvy Dunne and UConn basketball star Paige Bueckers.
