Overall a well officiated game. The refs took extra time to ensure the correct calls ehen reviewing replay video. Maybe too indecisive a few times for impatient fans. Maryland just a little too athletic for the talented mountsiners

I don’t think WVU lost just because of the refs at all, but the call towards giving the ball to Maryland towards the end sucked. It never looked like a WVU player touched it on any angle.

You guys need to look at the BIG picture !! This program is and has been BAD ….period ! ….and for years now !! We pay a coach WAY TO MUCH MONEY for the product he’s producing ! ( Just FACT ) Time for a CHANGE !!

Johnson made the game respectable and close. WV had 10 more shots than MD and FG% was bad. No inside game, Bell 0 pts., Stevenson wasn’t ready for prime time, and Mathews was immaterial with no production. MD was down 13 and just went inside at will and got buckets with a foul for 3pts. Next year 13-21. A down program in 🏈 and 🏀 stays down, good transfers and recruits go elsewhere.

Maryland won and had the better day, but you are acting as if WVU did not get into tournament this year. They turned a bad prior season around off transfers. More should be expected normally but the basketball program is better off than football.
