On3 Sports Ranks West Virginia’s Transfer Portal Class No. 1

West Virginia’s transfer portal class has been ranked No. 1 in the country by On3 Sports. WVU most recently added Akok Akok (F – Georgetown) and Noah Farrakhan (G – Eastern Michigan) in the last week.

On3’s Top 10 transfer portal classes:

West Virginia is ranked No. 2 in the country by 247 Sports and No. 3 by EvanMiya.

On3 has Akok, RaeQuan Battle (G – Montana State), Jesse Edwards (C – Syracuse) and Kerr Kriisa (G – Arizona) all as four-star transfers. West Virginia also brings in Jeremiah Bembry (G – Florida State), Farrakhan, Jose Perez (G – Manhattan), Quinn Slazinski (F – Iona/St. John’s), who On3 had as three-star transfers.

Farrakhan, WVU’s most recent commit, appeared in 31 games for the Eagles, averaging 12.1 points, 4.1 rebounds and 2.3 assists. Farrakhan shot 43% from the field and 24% from three. He recorded 14 games of 20 points or more during his EMU career. Farrakhan scored 19 points, six rebounds and three assists against Michigan in Nov. 2022.

Farrakhan will need a waiver cleared by the NCAA since he is a multi-time undergraduate transfer. Farrakhan has two years of eligibility remaining.
