WVU football players and fans at Gold-Blue Spring Game

The Gold-Blue Game is an annual event that marks the first time fans can see the Mountaineers in action as a team each year. And while that usually garners intrigue, it is still a meaningless game in many ways.

Roster aren’t close to being set, especially now in the Transfer Portal era. Position battles are far from over. The score doesn’t really matter. All of that speaks to why the WVU Spring Game is about the fanfare more than anything.
